Dive into cave worlds with stalactites, stalagmites and more. Romania’s caves are among the most beautiful and interesting in the world. Some of these caves are easy to reach and explore, others are difficult to explore. Often you can only experience the caves during a guided tour, but you shouldn’t miss it. Discover one or more of the thousands of spectacular karst landscapes in south-eastern Europe and immerse yourself in another world. Many caves can be visited by tourists, but others can only be visited by experienced speleologists. Among the most famous caves that can be visited by tourists are the Bear Cave in the municipality of Chiscau and the Pestera Bolii.
