Especially popular are the Moldovan monasteries such as Voronet Monastery, Humor Monastery, Vatra Moldovitei Monastery, Sucevita Monastery, Dragomirna Monastery and Putna Monastery. If you want to experience and explore beautiful nature, you can go hiking in the Rarau-Giumalau massif (Masivul Rarau Giumalau). Here you will find marked trails that go from the valleys up to the peaks of Giumalãu and Rarãu. You can also experience nature in the Secular Slatioara Forest (Codrul Secular Slatioara), where you can see fir and spruce trees with a diameter of over 1 meter and a height of about 50 meters. In the nature reserve Pietrele Doamnei you can find limestone rock formations, where you can also find the Bat Cave (Peștera cu Lilieci). The highest peak of the massif is at 1,651 meters.

It would also be worth mentioning the mega cable car (Mega tiroliana “La Palma”), located about 30 kilometers from Campulung Moldovenesc. If you prefer a more leisurely ride, you can take the steam locomotive Mocanita de la Moldovita – Hutulca for a ride through beautiful scenery. Not to forget the gorge Cheile Moara Dracului with its steep rock walls.
