The city of Focsani is located in Romania in the historical region of Moldova and is a city worth seeing. Focsani is not only a city worth seeing, but also a good starting point to explore the surrounding area. For example, a very special place is located 20 kilometers outside the city, the Zaga Zaga Resort is located on the river Siret. There, for example, you can experience boat trips on the canals that lead through forests and swamps. A unique natural experience is offered by the Focul Viu nature reserve, where you can see live fire or flames that they self-ignite. About 60 kilometers from Focsani is the waterfall (Cascada Putnei) in the nature park (Parcul Natural Putna Vrancea). The nearest major city is Galati.
