Doi Mai is a popular seaside resort on the Romanian Black Sea coast and is located near the town of Mangalia. It is still a tranquil seaside resort with a sandy beach and a beach for nudists. The old fishing village is a relaxed place, at Plaja 2 Doi Mai even camping is still allowed. Individualists often come here, but also families who are looking for peace and relaxation away from the big beach resorts. In the summer, however, it is now also crowded in Doi Mai, because the prices for accommodation are cheaper here and Vama-Veche and Mangalia are only a few kilometers away. From Mangalia station you can reach the beach Doi Mai by minibus or cab.

However, the swimming season in Romania is not year-round. It starts on May 1 and ends in mid to late September, depending on the temperature. If you prefer a cool beer, you can get it in the numerous restaurants or beach bars in the seaside resorts. Out of season, however, the stores, restaurants, clubs and other attractions are mostly closed in the seaside resorts.
