Natural Reservation Gura Dobrogea

Gura Dobrogea is a spectacular tourist attraction, where you can find unique flora and fauna, as well as numerous caves. The starting point for exploring the Gura Dobrogea nature reserve can be the village of Gura Dobrogei. The road to the village is not paved as of 2023. And hiking trails in this nature reserve are not marked yet, but you can still find your way there. Also, not far from this nature reserve is a gorge (Cheile Dobrogei).

The Gura Dobrogea Nature Reserve (Rezervația naturală Gura Dobrogei) is still one of the insider tips. In summer it can be hot here, so take plenty of water with you. The starting point for exploring the Gura Dobrogea nature reserve can be the village of Gura Dobrogei. From there you can get to the monastery Mănăstirea Sf Dionisie și Efrem cel Nou and then on to the bat cave (Peștera Liliecilor). Then not far away is already the cave Peștera La Adam.
It is also worth mentioning the rock formations in the shape of coins (Banutii Drobgoei (coordinates 44.475012291822914, 28.47495313976605)), located only about 650 meters from the monastery Mănăstirea Sf Dionisie și Efrem cel Nou. The Dobrogea Gorge (Cheile Dobrogei ) in the nature reserve of the same name is about 13 kilometers away.

Hiking Trails:

• The trails in this nature reserve are a bit difficult to find. For example, from the village of Gura Dobrogei you can get to the monastery (Mănăstirea Sf Dionisie și Efrem cel Nou) and then to the bat cave (Peștera Liliecilor). Not far away is then already the cave Peștera La Adam.
• You can also get to the rock formation in the form of coins (Banutii Drobgoei (coordinates 44.475012291822914, 28.47495313976605) from the monastery.
• The Dobrogea Gorge (Cheile Dobrogei ) in the nature reserve of the same name is about 13 kilometers away.
