The Dobrogea Gorges Nature Reserve (Cheile Dobrogei) Nature Reserve (Cheile Dobrogei) covers an area of 285 hectares and is really worth seeing. Unique fossil species have been found here in the limestone walls, and some of the fauna and flora are unique. In the Dobrogea Gorge you will also find many green areas, which are used for picnics, among other things. You can reach the gorge, for example, through the village of Târgușor on the road DJ222. One of the most beautiful points of the gorge is located about 7 kilometers from Targusor at the coordinates 44.50232278676135, 28.42388372383816. You should also have seen the cave and the monastery of St. Casian (Mănăstirea Peștera Sfântului Ioan Casian), which are located on the shores of Lake Casian (Lacul Casian) and the river Casimcea, respectively. Here is also located the cross Crucea Si Izvorul Sfântului Ioan Casian.
