In the Dobrogea Gorge you will also find many green areas, which are used for picnics, among other things. You can reach the gorge, for example, through the village of Târgușor on the road DJ222. One of the most beautiful points of the gorge is located about 7 kilometers from Targusor at the coordinates 44.50232278676135, 28.42388372383816. You should also have seen the cave and the monastery of St. Casian (Mănăstirea Peștera Sfântului Ioan Casian), which are located on the shores of Lake Casian (Lacul Casian) and the river Casimcea, respectively. Here is also located the cross Crucea Si Izvorul Sfântului Ioan Casian.
The Dobrogea Gorges Nature Reserve (Cheile Dobrogei) is very easy to reach from the town of Targusor. You can easily get there by the road DJ222. There is also a path leading from Targusor to the monastery (Mănăstirea Peștera Sfântului Ioan Casian), which starts not far from the train station.
