The Piatra Altarului Cave (Pestera) in Romania is one of the most beautiful caves in Europe, but unfortunately it is not open to tourists. It consists of 4 large areas the so-called halls with the names Palace, Paradise, Geode and Bear Altar (Palatul, Paradisul, Geoda si Altarul Ursilor) and a total length of more than 3000 meters. The cave is located in the Parcul Natural Apuseni.
