The Palace of Culture is the highlight of the city of Iasi. The beautiful neo-Gothic style building now houses several museums, including the History Museum (Muzeul de Istorie al Moldovei) and the Art Museum ((Muzeul de Arta). Inaugurated in 1926, it has been the cultural center of the beautiful city of Iasi since 1955. The interior of the palace is also impressive, for example the great Gothic hall with its mosaic. In front of the palace there is also the equestrian statue of Stefan Cel Mare. A visit to the palace is a must for everyone.
