The city of Medias is located in the Transylvania region in Romania and is a really worth seeing city with numerous historical sights, which can be seen clustered in the old town. Formerly Mediaș was surrounded around by a fortification wall and towers, of which even today some parts as well as towers can be seen, marking the old town. The historical towers such as the tower (Turnul Forkesch) and the tower (Turnul Fierarilor) are worth mentioning. Directly in front of the magnificent Evangelical Church (Biserica Evanghelica Sfanta Margareta), there is also the Tower of Trumpets (Turnul Trompeţilor). Here you can also find the beautiful Fagaras Mountains, where you can experience pure nature. You can also hike in the mountains (Munții Cindrel). Also worth seeing is the Ighiș Lake, which is located about 5 kilometers from Medias.
