Satu Mare Airport (SUJ) [Aeroportul International Satu Mare] is a regional airport located about 14 kilometers southeast of the city center of Satu Mare. Satu Mare Airport is mainly served by smaller airlines offering domestic flights and occasional international charter flights. The airport also participates in the “Carpathian Small Aviation” project, in which private pilots offer free airfields. The airport is connected to the public transportation network and also offers access to cabs and rental cars.
