Museums Iasi, in the Romanian metropolis there are several museums, among which are art museums, museum of ethnography, history museum, and others. Most of the museums are located in the historical center of the city, in the so-called Golden Plateau (Platoul de Aur), which is situated between the Palace of Culture (Palatului Culturii din Iasi) and the Unirea Hotel (Piata Unirii). The beautiful building of the Palace, in neo-Gothic style, today houses several museums, including the Museum of History (Muzeul de Istorie al Moldovei) and the Museum of Art ((Muzeul de Arta).
