Marginea is a small village in Suceava County, Romania, known for its traditional pottery art. The village is therefore often called “Marginea artisan village”. The pottery tradition here dates back several centuries. And even today, local artisans continue to use traditional techniques and materials to produce their distinctive black ceramics. Marginea’s black pottery ( Ceramică Neagră de la Marginea) is unique and already a world-renowned brand.
