I would also like to mention one of the last undeveloped beaches in Romania, Beach Corbu (Plaja Corbu). A paradise, with a sandy beach for kilometers. However, it is a secluded, wild and untouched beach, not chopped at night and therefore mixed with shells. Here you can find peace and enjoy the sound of the waves undisturbed and not far from the big port city of Constanta. Windsurfers and kitesurfers have also discovered the area for themselves. You can reach the beach via a concrete road that turns off to the right directly at the entrance to the town. If you are looking for pure beach and clean sea water, then you are right here.

At Lake Corbu (Lacul Corbu) you can also find some tourist facilities such as a sailing school. Lake Corbu is also popular with anglers. There is also a golf hotel nearby.

Map of Beaches

However, the swimming season in Romania is not year-round. It starts on May 1 and ends in mid to late September, depending on the temperature. By the way, the summer months in Romania can be very hot and reach temperatures around 30 °C, so a bath in the Black Sea is a welcome cooling. If you prefer a cool beer, you can get it in the numerous restaurants or beach bars in the seaside resorts. Out of season, however, the stores, restaurants, clubs and other attractions are mostly closed in the seaside resorts.
