Hotel of Ice, sleep on ice in a hotel built of ice. Directly at the beautiful mountain lake Balea Lac in the Fagaras Mountains you can stay every year in winter in a hotel made of ice. You can choose between a double room or an igloo, which are rebuilt every year. You can also dine in the Ice Restaurant. Come, overcome borders and live a unique experience that will inspire you.
Rooms: Double room with bed made of ice, which provides a comfortable sleep with animal skins, multilayer blankets and pillows. Room temperatures vary between 0 and – 2 degrees Celsius. The room is separated with curtains. Igloos are suitable for up to 4 people.
Equipment: bed made of ice with a size of 2 x 1.60 meters, with animal skins, multilayer blankets and pillows allow a comfortable sleeping temperature. There are no electrical outlets. Igloo with bed 2 x 2.40 meters, more space and more privacy.
Special Features: Everything was built from ice.
