Neptune is a beautiful seaside resort on the Black Sea in Romania and is located not far from the larger town of Mangalia. The sandy beach invites you to linger and is divided into several sections, of which Plaja La Steaguri is one of the most beautiful beaches in Romania. Along the main street of the seaside resort there are numerous restaurants and terraces, which offer traditional Romanian dishes as well as international dishes. The landmark of the seaside resort is the pier. Also located at Neptune are the lakes Neptune I and II, which offer water sports. The open-air cinema and the Paradis Land amusement park are also popular. There are also water sports on the sea as well as on Lake Neptune, mini golf courses and sea.

However, the swimming season in Romania is not year-round. It starts on May 1 and ends in mid to late September, depending on the temperature. By the way, the summer months in Romania can be very hot and reach temperatures around 30 °C, so a bath in the Black Sea is a welcome cooling. Out of season, however, the stores, restaurants, clubs and other attractions are mostly closed in the seaside resorts.
